A Warm Welcome
From Vetcetera Animal Hospital! At
Vetcetera Animal Hospital our goal is to provide excellent care
for your pets as well as a comfortable, enjoyable experience for
the entire family. We strongly believe in the benefits of good preventative
health care for your pet. We are enthusiastic and willing to take
the extra time and effort to address any concerns and questions
regarding your pets' health. Client education and practicing excellent
quality medicine are our number one priorities. We will be giving
"Pet Tips" on Global Noon every month, as well as writing
a bi-weekly column for the Daily News - visit our website for a
summary of Pet Tips topics. The Vetcetera
Animal Hospital staff is knowledgeable, friendly and willing to
help you and your pet in any way possible. We are proud of our
new facility and would gladly give you a tour if you have not
had the chance yet. We welcome "social visits" - feel
free to stop in with your pet for a chat and a treat. Bring along
a friend or pass on the word that we are here and ready to serve
pet owners in Bedford and beyond!
Veterinarian: Dr. Emma Raghavan
I am originally from Cape Breton and very happy
to be back in Nova Scotia. I am a 1994 graduate from the Atlantic
Veterinary College in PEI. I practiced in Vermont for 3½
years as a small and large animal practitioner providing routine
and emergency care to "all creatures great and small."
Following this I turned my focus to small animal medicine and surgery
with a practice in Winnipeg which also served as a part-time emergency
facility. Since my return to Nova Scotia in December of 1998, I
have practiced part-time at both the Metro Animal Emergency Clinic
in Burnside and Parrots to Ferrets Veterinary Hospital in Halifax.
I have also provided locum service to many other Metro Area practices
as well.
