Meet the staff at Vetcetera!

Dr. Emma Raghaven

On June 3rd and 4th, the Nova Scotia SPCA held its first Annual Animal Wellness Conference.  This conference was the first of its kind in Atlantic Canada.  The conference offered an opportunity for networking among those involved in numerous different aspects of animal welfare and wellness.  There was a great schedule of speakers with varied topics on animal health and welfare, shelter operations, animal cruelty investigation and many others.

A BIG thanks to everyone who braved the rain and came out on Saturday to support our local animal shelters!

Our new booths, the bake sale, yard sale, and facepainting were a huge hit !  Thank you to everyone who donated items for the sale tables !

This year's event is the 11th Annual Dog Wash and Community BBQ held by Vetcetera Animal Hospital.

At Vetcetera Animal Hospital our staff is dedicated to providing the best care possible for your pet, this requires continuous learning and staying up-to-date on the latest developments in animal medicine.

Recently a couple of our staff attended the Atlantic Provinces Veterinary Conference in Halifax, a three day event featuring seminars for various fields of veterinary practice. Melanie focused on anaesthesia and animal behaviour, while Tanya attended seminars on customer care and communication.
